My 1st Practicum experience...^_^

09-04-09,Thursday.


Today was my 1st practicum visitation, which means that the supervisor from RTRC would be visiting my centre to supervise my routine care and lesson time. I was extremely nervous. Rush out the last minute preparation last night till 2am, last few nights i have been sleeping only 5 hrs per day. Damn tired...slept till 8am then rush to my centre. Gotta take time to set up the place and prepare for lesson. 10.15am, the supervisor arrived at my centre, she really punctual leh. Dunno what happened to my K1 children today, most of them were trying to be funny. Fortunately, i still have my own way to handle them without shouting and yelling at them. After lesson, started to shower(that is my routine care) children 1 by 1. Supervisor requested only showered 6 children. After that, meeting with her. I was so suprised by the comment that she gave me. She praised me that i did a very good job,lesson is well-organised,has establised a close rapport with children, calm, confident etc. I was really happy when i heard, i thought my performance was not good. wakaka...so proud of myself. Before she left, she says :"Wai Ling, you are really suit to be in this line, keep it up."
After sending her off, i was showing my practicum report to my supervisor and aunty cleaner happily. Babe, you are the first person who comes to my mind. How i wish i could show the report to you and you are the 1st person who sees.
Today finished work at 7pm, trying to called Babe but he din answer. After that, msg to Sister Alison, Rou Thieng and Row Lee and tell them the good news. They were so happy for me...lol. Shaun was back from India(attending army practice there) and he called me to asked abt my practicum. He wanted to celebrated for me at Coffee Bean @Rail Mall. Called Babe to asked permission to go,so i agreed to meet up with him at 10pm. We changed to another restaurant due to too crowded at Coffee Bean. Shaun shared his experience in India with me, and he is going for the parachute course and need to practice jumping down from the planes next week. He comments that he rather not to promoted to become Army Captain. I also rather not to promoted to become teacher...but i'm not being choosen. Haiz...life is like that.
Reached home at 12.30am, took a quick showered then went to my bed. Good night, Babe.

My great and exciting weekend

21/03/09, Saturday

Ms Ng wanted to clear 2 hrs time off for me, working 9am to 2pm today. Was really headache when i saw the number of children present today( usually don't have so many children coming on saturday). Myself, Si HUi and Xiao Yue were working today, but seem like i was the only person working...I HATE THE FEELING, VERY UNFAIR. I gotta kept Hao Min with me the whole day as he tends to bite and beat children without any reason...NO: 1 DANGER, another child is Yao An, same things to him also...NO: 2 DANGER.
Finally, it was 2 pm and every child also went home. After finished compiling the N2 Math workbook, 3 of us took LRT together. Today was the 2nd Sat didn't work with Rina, we used to had breakfast together, washed mattress cots, wash toys together and even walk together to her house after work. Not used to it.
Rina, I miss u very much. Dunno how are you today.
Reached home at 2.45pm, played with Angie and Oreo then chat with Sis Alison when she came home. My PCM group members asked me to go out for movie,"Hotel for Dogs", tempted to watch with them. Unfortunately, raining heavily outside and i couldn't go anywhere and nothing to do so i surfed net. Chat with Jemy for a while, feel sleepy and went to take a nap. Before taking a nap, i called Kevin and says that i'm not going out for movie. While i was enjoying my sweet dream, Sis Rou Thieng callled and asked me to meet up with her @ Toa Payoh. Don't really feel like travelling so far, but i didn't met her 4 quite sometimes so i agreed to meet up with her.
Went to ate dinner with her and her hubby at Toa Payoh Central, after dinner they brought me to shop around there. We passed by the Durian stall, tempted to eat but my throat was not well. A pair of couples passed by us, the guy asked his gf: "Dear,You want to eat Durian or not"?, But he was looking at me instead of his gf. Bro Joo Lam answered: "I want to eat" to the guy,his gf was staring at us. I know it was a bit rude to do that, but Bro Joo Lam says it was meant to give the guy a lesson...lol. After that, we went to the 2nd highest HDB Flat in S'pore. The highest is at Payah Lebah (50 storey), the 1 that we went is located at Toa Payoh Central(40 storey). We need to took two different lifts up to 40 storey,(1-21) &(21-40).Acrophobia is simply a severe fear of heighs and i'm one of it, i get rapid heart rate and get short of breath when i looked down from 40 storey.My body was a bit shivering, it was so awful . Sis Rou Thieng and her hubby helped me to take some photos. That was really a nice view, we could see Batam, JB and S'pore Flyer from there. After that, we went to Sky Garden @ 10th Floor. Saw a lot of couples dating there...so sweet. After that, we went home to watch the 9,30pm drama. (ToGetHer, acting by Rainie Yang and Jiro Wang. Nice show...lol)
We watched till 11.30pm, i was so sleepy so i went to sleep. I woke up at 3am... can heard that both of them snoring very loudly . My throat was so itchy and i kept coughing. Dunno is bcoz not used to the environment or what, i couldn't sleep again. So irritating...all the way till 6am. Babe, how i wish u could be my side at this time. Sis Rou Thieng woke me up at 7.30am, don't feel like waking up loh. So tired. After went to church and lunch and Bishan, we went to the Highest HDB Flat again. Bro Joo Lam says the view between night and day time is different, so we went up and saw the view again. After that, we went to Toa Payoh Regional Library as i need to search book for my practicumm. Coincidently met Mrs. Wong there, we chat for a while then continue for my books searching. Went back to Cashew after that, missed my bed so much. Fell asleep again...till Aunty Lani woke me up for dinner.
Enjoyed my great weekend so much...wish to have 1 more time again but i would want to sleep the whole night till next day morning and not like this time round. I miss you...Babe.

Today is the 1st lecture for Programme Planning and Transition to P1. Fell asleep during lecture, as the classroom is really cold and i was so tired. Wonder why the management adjust the air-con to so cold??? Yvonne quickly woke me up when she realised that i was felling asleep. Fortunately, Mrs Corina didn't notice...lol. She talked about how important our role as Pre-school teacher for early childhood education. Remembered that she asked us: "Don't you all find that you all are so important to the young children? As in, you all are the 1 who holds their little hands. I added: "Wash their backside." Yvonne burst out laughing, classmate who are sitting behind us also did the same things. Mrs Corina starred at us a few seconds, i pretended to looked at the note. I also dunno why i would says that also...lol. Still very playful and daring...that's me. ^_^
Mrs Corina rewarded us as she released us at 9.45pm (normally class ended at 10pm). Yepee...could go home early. Waited for Sharon outside the toilet, myself and Yvonne took some photos while waiting for her. That's us, like to take photo at everywhere and anytime. (even in toilet...lol)
Still gotta travelled 50mins to reach home...sien ah. Fell asleep in the bus...fortunately didn't miss the bus stop.

Today was Rina's last day working in AICDC, which means last day i working with her. It's really hard to describe my feeling...sob sob. All along, we have been working as a partner and our relationship was like mother and daughter. Everytime we go shopping, surely the sales girl would mistaken i'm her daughter. She has been teaching me a lot of things...even thought she is naggy but she is very kind and reminds me a lot of things at all the time. I really dunno how to continue working without her, i'm really so used to work with her since i started work there for almost 2 and 1/2 years. She is my motivation for working hard and study, she kept encouraging me not to give up easily. Darling, i know i couldn't b selfish if i ask u to stay on. As i could understand and know you better than anybody does in AICDC. Darling, here i wish u all the best, stay pretty, happy and healthy always. Hope you would like the gift we prepared for you. And i'm sorry that i couldn't control myself and cried in front of you when saying bye bye to you. Coz i'm really miss you...love ya. Looking forward to our KL trip on 30th April...Muacks. You will always in my mind...^_^

Staying at home alone in the morning, extremely boring. Wanna go out but i was sick since Wed. My fever was on and off since Wed...sickening. Homesick, I WANNA GO HOME. Surfing net after breakfast, wanted to upload my Blog but couldn't get in the page. No interersting Tv programme to watch, damn boring...no entertainment. Tmr is my Babe's 23th b'th, how i wish i could go back and celeb his b'th. 3 years din celeb with him already, felt so bad. Miss him so much. Trying to think of idea to give him a surprise. Thought of giving a surprise as i asked Jacq to buy a b'th cake and send to his house tmr nite. lol. Jacq promised it, so happy. Msn with Jemy and discuss with her on what to give Babe for b'th present this year. She suggested me to make a poster for him. Finds it interesting, was agreed with her idea. She help me on designing the poster and asked her dear to deliver to Babe tmr nite. Wonder how Babe respond when he receive the surprise.lol. How i wish i could stay by his side now. Miss him so much...huh huh.
